To help the public better understand the volatile financial markets, diversify their investment and reduce the potential risk, the Department of Business Administration at UWest offers this special lecture on Investments and Financial Markets. This lecture will be given at the UWest’s Investment Laboratory, which has the live connection with the Wall Street and has tickers/instant quotes of all securities. All three speakers have strong foundations of finance theory and also have good working experience in the fields.  

Topics covered in this special lecture will be–Investor Psychology and its Effects on the Investment Performance and the Financial Markets; Technical Analysis, Selection of Stocks and Timing of Executions; and Investment Diversification, Portfolio Management, and Simulations.  

The seminar is organized by the Center for the Study of Minority & Small Business and the Department of Business Administration at UWest.  

The Seminar is open to the public, free of charge.
