On Tuesday, April 19, President Wu, Professors Dang Tran, Bill Chen, and Murray Johannsen along with 12 students visited our neighbor – Panda Restaurant Group, Inc.

Co-founder, co-Chair/CEO of Panda, Dr. Peggy Cherng warmly received us. Dr. Cherng introduced Panda’s latest developments and its success. Panda currently has about 1,400 stores/ branches. It is one of the fastest growing fast-food companies in the US. The company’s annual revenues were more than $1.2 billion in 2010. Even under the difficult economic/business conditions in the past years, the company still has been doing business very well.
