Financial Assistance

There are various types of financial aid available to assist eligible students. University of the West has a program of grants and work-study positions to assist students who require financial support to complete their studies at the University. Because the need for financial assistance often exceeds what the University can supply, students must rely on other sources of support such as employment, loans, and family assistance. It is the student's responsibility to secure information regarding scholarships and loans from private sources. Financial assistance is provided on a semester by semester basis and is awarded for only one semester at a time. Application for financial assistance should begin at the same time as application to the University. Financial Aid application forms are available from the Office of Admissions or Student Services.
