The Institute of Chinese Buddhist Studies (ICBS) is glad to invite the submission of individual papers for Spring 2012 ICBS Seminar “Humanistic Buddhism: Past, Present, and Future” scheduled for April 16-17, 2012 at the University of the West.
The seminar is designed for University of the West’s graduate students to elevate their academic excellence and hopefully outreach the National and International forums on relevant Buddhist studies. ICBS will provide sponsorship to attend Association for Asian Studies (AAS) annual meeting 2012 in Toronto, Canada, March 15 –18, 2012. Students will have chances to meet scholars from all around the world, attend different academic panels, and learn presentation skills. On April’s ICBS Seminar, students should report the conference experience and present their own papers.
