The application information must be filled in by all residents regardless of the type of room requested. This information will help us match you with an appropriate roommate should you be required to have one and to determine the kinds of programs we will offer throughout the academic year. Please give us the most accurate information possible, and do not worry about making yourself “look good” by saying, for example, that you do not smoke when in fact you do. Inaccurate information will lead to bad roommate matches.

Please note that spaces are limited in the residence hall. We will make every effort to accommodate your room type preferences, in the order that you have listed them. Please also check on the cost of the room type you are requesting before you submit your application. Contact the Department of Residential Life or your Admissions representative for current cost information.

A security deposit of $150.00 is required to hold the room. Furthermore, submitting this application online initiates an assignment to university residential life and that subsequent rent charges will be assessed to your account after a contract is generated. The choices for room assignments on the application are preferences only. UWest Residential life will make every effort to honor room type choices, roommate requests and smoking preferences, but they are not guaranteed. Please also understand that submitting this application alone does not guarantee you a space in university residential life.
