On June 9, 2010, professor Demyan, UWest’s Psychology Program Coordinator, launched the vegetarian-lifestyle website Blissful Cow (http://www.blissfulcow.com). Blissfulcow.com offers cookbook recommendations, grocery list ideas, tips for entertaining, and recipes ideas that are nutritious, delicious, affordable, as well as earth and animal friendly. “At blissfulcow.com you'll find mouth-watering photographs of dishes, and step-by-step instructions on how to recreate it in your kitchen!” professor Demyan said. Professor Demyan is a long-time vegetarian who simply wanted to share her culinary journey with others. “I feel like I'm learning more about food, cooking, and nutrition everyday,” she said. “I just want to be able to share it with everyone!” By following Blissful Cow, you'll be able to learn how to make a better meal that's good for your health, your family, and the earth. “Do it right and you'll never miss the meat!” she said. Professor Demyan also serves as the editor for the online wellness magazine, Amy Knows Best (http://www.amyknowsbest.com). |
