The University of the West Student Association is sponsoring four grants of $500 each for ideas to enrich the academic and social life at UWest. These grants are made available to students, faculty, and staff for the purpose of initiating programs that bring the university as a whole together.
We strongly encourage YOU to think up, organize, and execute programs that create a better and more inclusive environment at UWEST. The deadline for these grants is on a rolling basis, but the grant community will assess each application as they come in. The early you submit your plan, the better the odds of being a grant winner!
Please note that grants will not be awarded to individual persons; organizers must work with existing student organizations and staff and faculty departments. When filling out the application, think carefully about the objective of your program and what needs it is meeting. Outline the activities you wish to do, and write a detailed budget for each expense. You may spend more than $500, but we will only fund to $500, you are in charge of finding additional funding sources.
Packets can be found on http://www.uwsa.net/grant or bullet board outside AD 111.
