| UWest graduates English as a Second Language students for 2010 |

ROSEMEAD, Calif. – MAY 14, 2010 – University of the West’s English as a Second Language program graduated 13 students from its beginning, intermediate and advanced levels on Friday, May 14, 2010. Students were awarded certificates at a small ceremony after they read poetry they wrote in English and gave presentations on their American experience so far. Among the graduates were a group of Korean exchange students from Geumgang University, one of Korea’s top campuses. "It goes to show you that hard work will pay off and make you a success," Oscar Martinez, ESL program coordinator for UWest, told the students during the ceremony. |
