About the Certificate Program

This online certificate program is a study of Buddhism and its application in daily life.

This program is designed for those who are interested in Buddhism and Buddhist leadership in practice. Buddhists, non-Buddhists, beginners and advanced students in Buddhism are welcome.

Access to the Online/Virtual Classroom

The online course takes place at your own pace.

To log in to the Online Classroom, you will receive a username/password and granted access when you are registered for the class.

To get the best experience from the courses, participation is recommended and encouraged. Students will only truly benefit from the classes by interacting with fellow students and the instructor.

This certificate program is available under Open Enrollment. Please fill in the forms:

2. The Add/Drop and Course Registration Form

Fees

Tuition per course is US$200, plus $50 one-time registration fee if student registers for all three HBL (100, 200, & 250) classes.

Methods of payment:

• Check: Payment in US Dollars payable to “University of the West”
• Credit Card/Master Card: Please fill out the Credit Card Payment Form and fax it to us at (626)656-2105. If you choose to mail the form, please enclose it along with the Open Enrollment form and mail it to the Office of Admissions.

Payments will be accepted course by course only

*All the tuition fees are not refundable.

Certificate Conferment

Certificate in Humanistic Buddhism & Leadership will be conferred to students who have achieved “Pass” evaluated by the course lecturer.
