On Saturday, May 12, UWest MBA graduate, Min-Hsien Wang, received the Outstanding Alumnus Award.

Min graduated from UWest’s MBA program in 2009. Since then he has been working for the Chamber of Commerce, Rosemead, first as the Executive Director and now as the Chief Executive Office. Min has done an excellent job to manage the Chamber-- its operations, management and expansions. He has been working very well with the City Council members, city officials, and Chamber’s Board of Directors. He well applied what he learned from the MBA program to solve challenges and problems the Chamber has faced and is facing. Min is a well known figure in the city of Rosemead and he has become the Ambassador of the UWest to the local communities.

Min is also a very active alumnus and is always willing to help the university. His office and UWest cooperated together to offer joint services to help local minority and small businesses.
