University of the West to hold inaugural Fall Festival at its Rosemead campus

Live music, kids games, food and more to be offered at free event

University of the West, the only accredited Buddhist-founded campus in Los Angeles County, will host its Fall Festival from noon to 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at its campus in Rosemead.

The public is invited to this free event, which will include live music, DJs, kids’ activities, food vendors, workshops and more. The event is organized in partnership with the University of the West and its student clubs, with special thanks going to the students in the psychology club.

Confirmed for the day are:

• Live music from Kevin Shima (of Homunculus), Very Be Careful, Jason Simon (of Dead Meadow), plus liva salsa music & much more!
• Food vendors: Big E's Teriyaki & Burgers, Fogata Mexicana, plus Italian and Asian cuisine vendors! & more!
• Games: Moon bounce, face painting, puppet show & more!
• Booths: An array of services and organizations from the community will be present!
