First-time freshman applicants are required to complete the University of the West online application.
All applicants should submit official high school transcripts and, if applicable, transcripts from all universities/colleges attended. Transcripts must be sealed and sent directly from the school(s) to the Enrollment Office.
Letters of Recommendation
Two letters of recommendation must be submitted directly from the references in a sealed envelope or from an e-mail with a professional domain. Academic letters of recommendation are highly encouraged. References may not be a relative of the applicant.
The personal essay of 400-500 words should answer the question, “What skills and attitudes do you believe are necessary for a successful life?
A non-refundable application fee of $50 may be made by check or credit card. Please make checks out to University of the West.
Submit a copy of official high school diploma, or its equivalent.
The university requests copies of two forms of legal identification. Acceptable forms of identification include: Driver’s License, Identification card, US Passport, and Social Security Card.
