Tuition for any class dropped by a student is refundable according to University policy. The date of withdrawal for purposes of tuition credit shall be the date on which the class was dropped at the Registrar's Office. A student who withdraws on or prior to the first day of semester will receive a full refund of all moneys paid, less the application fee not to exceed $100. 

When a petition for withdrawal is filed after the start of instruction, students are responsible to pay tuition and fee, or a percentage of the tuition paid will be refunded in accordance with the Tuition Refund Schedule. Refunds will be made by check to the student within 30 days from the date of receiving Request for Fee Refund form.

Tuition Refund Schedule for Fall or Spring Semester

• Withdrawal prior to the beginning of the semester: 100%
• Withdrawal within the 1st week of the semester: 90%
• Withdrawal within the 2nd week of the semester: 70%
• Withdrawal within the 3rd week of the semester: 50%
• Withdrawal within the 4th week of the semester: 10%
• Withdrawal after the 4th week of the semester: None

Tuition Refund Schedule for Summer Classes

• Withdrawal prior to the beginning of the classes: 100%
• Withdrawal within the 1st week of the classes: 80%
• Withdrawal within the 2nd week of the classes: 60%
• Withdrawal within the 3rd week of the classes: 40%
• Withdrawal after the 3rd week of the classes: None

Tuition Refund Schedule for Classes that Do Not Fall in the Regular Semester Schedule

• Withdrawal prior to the first class: 100%
• Withdrawal within 7% of the classes: 90%
• Withdrawal within 14% of the classes: 70%
• Withdrawal within 20% of the classes: 50%
• Withdrawal within 30% of the classes: 10%
• Withdrawal after 30% of the classes: None
