Once again, UWest is gearing up for the Summer Bridge2U program. Since 2013, the university has been offering incoming freshmen from local communities the chance to jump start their college studies over the summer. This FREE 6-week program includes a General Education course (ILR 101 College Success) as well as co-curricular activities and the opportunity to live on campus for a week.
Students newly admitted to the fall semester can apply for this exciting program where they will hone important academic survival skills, build relationships with staff and students, and plan for success in college and beyond. Bridge2U allows students to earn their first 3 units toward their degree, receive tutoring support, and enjoy opportunities for personal growth through co-curricular activities. Summer Bridge2U culminates with a week of on-campus living, special activities, field-trips, and a final dinner with families.
