Every year in the United States, dozens of people with trans and other gender-variant identities (including transgender, non-binary, two-spirit, gender-queer, gender fluid, etc.) are murdered, simply for being who they are. These crimes receive little attention or resources and nearly always remain unsolved.

On November 20th of each year, those lost to violence are honored. As part of the International Education & Interfaith Week celebration this year, UWest Rainbow Lotus will be hosting a vigil in Ken Locke Hall to speak their names and remember their faces.

UWest invites everyone to join the vigil on Saturday, Nov. 20th at 4:30pm Pacific Time in Ken Locke Hall (ED 213).
