Academic Programs
English for Academic Purposes
The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Program is designed to meet the needs of English language learning students who are interested in attending UWest degree or other U.S. university degree programs. The EAP helps students acquire the language skills and cultural understanding necessary for academic success while living in the United States. Students from a variety of backgrounds come together in small classes to study and practice all fundamental English skills in meaningful and authentic contexts to develop critical thinking and independent learning skills necessary for college.
The EAP Program is offered during the Fall and Spring semesters that run for 16 weeks each.
