International Students

UWest offers a warm welcome to international students.

Citizens of more than 44 countries comprise half of the university’s student body.

Although international students are expected to be able to meet our costs, UWest offers merit scholarships to select international students who show outstanding academic and personal achievement.

Over the past ten years, we have awarded scholarships to over 150 international students.

Our goal is to make UWest as accessible and affordable as possible so that students like you can benefit from our world-class education.

Select undergraduate international students can earn $6,000/year in merit scholarships; select graduate international students can qualify for $7,000/year in merit scholarships.

You can renew these scholarships every year as long as you are in good academic standing.
