Complete English placement test
( Conditionally admitted students only)
English language proficiency is a critical factor in your success here at UWest. You have been granted conditional admission to UWest because your TOEFL or IELTS score did not meet the minimum required for full admission to a UWest degree program. We use the EPT results to place you in the classes you need to succeed.
The EPT is offered free of charge during UDays Orientation and on regularly scheduled testing days prior to UDays. There is a $50 EPT fee charged for testing if you would like to request to take the test at any other time.
We will email you the further details on how to schedule your English Placement Test (EPT) once we receive your Intent to Enroll.
How to register for classes?
We will email you a Welcome Letter once you submit your Intent to Enroll. The Welcome Letter includes further details on how to register for classes, new students’ orientation, assessments, and log-in information of your UWest email and Moodle accounts (UWest’s learning management system).
Mark your calendar for UDays!
New student orientation, also known as UDays at UWest, is designed to give our new students an introduction to the campus culture and resources and to help you with the transition to college life. All new students are Required to attend UDays. We will email you the further details once we receive your Intent to Enroll.
