Financial Aid
Undergraduate: How to Apply for Financial Aid at UWest
Applying for financial aid and scholarship is a key part of your college application and admission process. At UWest, we make it as simple as possible for you.
Start your application by following our two-step process:
Step 1: Complete the FAFSA
The FAFSA application allows us to review your eligibility for federal and state financial aid. Please remember to add UWest’s Federal School Code 036963 to your FAFSA before submission.
Financial aid is awarded on an academic-year basis and it is not automatically renewable. Therefore, you must complete the FAFSA application for each year of attendance. The FAFSA cycle opens October 1 every year.
Step 2: Complete the UWest Application for Financial Aid and Scholarships
The UWest Application for Financial Aid and Scholarships allows us to establish a financial aid and scholarship profile for you at UWest. Please remember to submit the application to the UWest Financial Aid Office by April 1.
For CA Residents Only:
California residents who are required to complete their FAFSA or CA Dream Act Application by March 2 in order to be considered for a Cal Grant award.
