Dr. Deepak Shimkhada Lecture: “Visions of the Divine Feminine in Hinduism”

Dr. Miroj Shakya is inviting everyone to attend his REL 520 Religions in India class on Tuesday, October 19, at 10am PDT for a special lecture featuring Dr. Deepak Shimkhada.

Dr. Shimkhada is a well-known Nepali-American educator, artist, art historian, author and community leader. He currently serves as an adjunct professor of art at Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. He has held visiting and adjunct positions at various universities, such as Scripps College, California State University, Northridge, Claremont School of Theology, and University of the West.

The topic of Dr. Shimkhada’s guest lecture is “Visions of the Divine Feminine in Hinduism. The lecture is open to everyone. No registration is required.
