The final installment of Emeritus Professor of Religious Studies Dr. Lewis Lancaster’s “Encountering Life” lecture series is titled, “Self: Active & Passive Agent,” scheduled for Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at 7:00pm Pacific Time. It will be offered remotely on Zoom.
Organized by the Department of Religous Studies and Religious Graduate Council and sponsored by the Institute for the Study of Humanistic Buddhism, the “Encountering Life” lecture series explores ways that Buddhist lessons, principles, and values could be useful in everyday life encounters. Using personal experience and a life-long study of Buddhism, Dr. Lancaster’s talks cover a variety of topics relevant to modern problems and concerns.
