Environmental Geography of Los Angeles Seminar

In celebration of Earth Day 2021 and to reaffirm UWest’s commitment to environmental protection and advocacy, Professor Tom Moritz will offer a seminar of the environmental geography of Los Angeles.

Professor Moritz will present an introduction to the diversity of Los Angeles’s climate, ocean, mountains, rivers, and wildlife, along with case studies of how human activity has impacted our environment.

The seminar is part of UWest’s annual Common Ground celebration and will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 12pm PDT. Everyone is welcome. There is no registration or passcode required.
