Dining Hall

Esperanza’s Caffe in the UWest Dining Hall is open to students, faculty, staff, and the public. Vegetarian and vegan options are available.

Opening hours:
Monday to Wednesday: 11:00am to 5:00pm.
Thursday & Friday: 12:00 pm to 7:30 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm

Student Kitchen for Residents

Students living in on-campus housing have access to the Student Kitchen off the Recreation Room to prepare their own meals. For questions about the Student Kitchen, residents should contact the Residential Assistant on duty or Student Life Coordinator Eddie Escalante eddiee@uwest.edu.

Food Insecurity

Anyone experiencing food insecurity is strongly encouraged to contact Vanessa Karam, Chief Student Services Officer, at VanessaK@uwest.edu. The CSSO will help locate resources while protecting student privacy and confidentiality.
