UWest’s annual International Education & Interfaith Week celebration, sponsored by the Office of Student Life, will take place from November 15 to 21, with the opening ceremony occuring on Monday, Nov. 15 at 12:00pm Pacific Time. As usual, UWest’s Chaplaincy Club will organize the opening ceremony.
This year’s theme is resiliency and healing. Chaplaincy Club will kick off the weeklong celebration with a ceremony of remembrance, along with a “Healing Tree” ritual, which involves hanging personalized messages from community members. Everyone is invited to participate in this event, as well as other activities during the week.
