UWest Celebrates Mid-Autumn Festival 2021

UWest invites all faculty, students, staff, and the wider community to join us for a LIGHT Celebration for Mid-Autumn Festival on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 6:00pm Pacific Time.

The event will take place at Founder’s Courtyard and will feature a blessing and light ceremony led by Venerable Hui Dong, alumni video, live music, raffles, prizes, mooncakes, gifts, and boba tea courtesy of our sponsor Loose Leaf Boba Company. Mid-Autumn Festival is normally a time for family, friends, and community, so our celebration will emphasis the togetherness that is at the core of our university.

As we approach the date of the event, we will hold mini-activities in preparation for the LIGHT Celebration, including planting solar flowers and decorating lanterns. All students, faculty, and staff are welcomed to participate in all activities leading up to September 20.

Planting Solar Flowers – Sep. 1 – 9

Decorating Lanterns – Sep. 9
