Dr. Kanae Omura has been promoted to Associate Professor of General Education & Liberal Arts. Dr. Omura’s promotion is a testament to her hard work, dedication, and commitment to the university.
Emeritus Professor of Religious Studies, Dr. Darui Long, recently presented his paper, “Concordant Catalogue of Yongle Northern Canon to Other Editions of Chinese Buddhist Canon,” at the “Tools of the Trade: The Way Forward” conference hosted by Harvard University.
Assistant Professor of Religious Studies and Director of the Institute for the Study of Humanistic Buddhism, Dr. Jens Reinke, served as the respondent at the Celebration of First Books in Chinese Religions, hosted by the Society for the Study of Chinese Religions at the Association for Asian Studies Annual Conference in Boston.
