Master of Business Administration

UWest offers two distinct MBA programs, each designed to support students at different stages of their professional and academic journey.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is ideal for early-career professionals or recent graduates looking to build a strong foundation in business. With an emphasis on international business, cultural diversity, and ethical leadership, this program prepares students to lead responsibly across both for-profit and nonprofit sectors. This is a full-time, in-person program that provides a comprehensive education in core business principles through a global and values-driven lens.

The Professional MBA (ProMBA) is designed specifically for experienced professionals, executives, and entrepreneurs with at least three years of managerial or industry experience. This 33-unit program enhances strategic thinking and leadership capabilities, and can be completed in just one year. Offered in flexible formats—including fully online and hybrid options—it accommodates busy schedules without compromising depth or quality. The ProMBA emphasizes mindful and ethical leadership grounded in Buddhist values, does not require GRE/GMAT scores, and is competitively priced at a total cost of $9,900.
