Faculty Profile
Dr. Chi Sheh is Associate Professor of Business Administration at the University of the West. He teaches courses in finance, accounting, statistics, and economics. Dr. Sheh has published a book chapter, “A Buddhist Perspective on Humanizing Business,” exploring the practical implications of Buddhist principles for ethical business practices. More recently, he has published several articles and been invited to speak at international academic conferences on the intersection of artificial intelligence and business.
Dr. Sheh directs the UWest Socially Responsible Investment Fund, where he guides MBA students in selecting socially responsible companies, mutual funds, and ETFs based on a detailed analysis of financial data and ESG metrics. He is also the founding advisor to the Sustainable Investing Club at UWest, fostering innovative ideas and practical approaches to sustainable investing. Previously, Dr. Sheh worked as a financial analyst at Enron Corporation, with experience in power trading, international energy and water project development, and commercial energy risk management and services.
